Content & Community Standards

NciteMe pages are designed for a broad audience. These standards explain how the Acceptable Use Policy applies to avatars, banners, galleries, videos, menus, events, testimonials, embeds, links, QR codes, and personas.

Keep the page itself suitable for a broad audience

Do not upload or display pornography, explicit nudity or sexual activity, sexualized images of minors, explicit sexual copy, or graphic violence. The rule applies to previews and embedded feeds as well as original uploads. A business may discuss lawful health or education topics in a non-explicit way. Artistic, medical, or educational context can be considered, but it is not an automatic exception for explicit imagery.

Do not link to adult destinations from a NciteMe page. Sensitive labels and exit warnings are not available yet, so those links are not allowed. Profiles that hide a destination or direct minors toward sexual content are prohibited.

Honesty, consent, and safety

Use names, photos, testimonials, credentials, prices, offers, availability, and locations accurately. Get permission before posting another person’s photo or private information. Do not impersonate anyone, fabricate endorsements, expose private details, encourage self-harm or violence, or sell illegal or restricted goods. Do not use AI-generated material to impersonate or sexualize a real person without consent. You are responsible for your claims and for third-party rights.

Review

Reports may lead to human review. Context matters: a word, a domain, or a report alone does not establish a violation. Depending on severity, we may ask for edits, remove a block or link, restrict a page, or close an account. We prioritize credible reports of exploitation, imminent danger, and nonconsensual intimate imagery. Report concerns at Report Abuse. We may preserve relevant records when required to investigate or comply with law.
