Draft 2026-10-15-draft. Not in effect.
Affiliate terms
This page is a draft for review by NciteIO, LLC. It is not an active agreement. Approval of an affiliate application does not accept these terms, start commissions, or send a payout. No effective date is set.
The business rules below are approved. This page is still not an active agreement, and it does not start commissions or payouts. Stripe Connect is the selected payout method. It is not turned on. Recipients must be based in the United States, using the country on their verified Stripe account. That is not a citizenship test, and an IP address is not used. Settlement is in USD. NciteMe pays the Stripe payout fees. Those fees are not taken out of the 20% commission.
Participation
Participation requires NciteMe approval and acceptance of the active version of these terms. You must provide accurate application information and be legally eligible to participate. Approval does not create employment, an agency relationship, or authority to make commitments for NciteMe.
Eligible referrals and commissions
For an eligible new customer attributed to your referral, the draft pays 20% of qualifying subscription revenue collected during that customer's first continuous 12-month window. The window begins at the first successful nonzero eligible subscription payment and ends 12 calendar months later, at the same time of day. If that day does not exist in the ending month, the window ends on the last day of that month. The ending moment itself is not included. Pauses and cancellation do not extend the window. Plan changes and restarts do not restart it.
Qualifying revenue is subscription money actually collected after discounts and credits, excluding tax, refunds, add-ons, setup fees, gift balances, and non-subscription products. Stripe processing fees are not deducted under this draft. Starter, Pro, and Business are the approved eligible plans. Agency and custom contracts are not included. A zero-dollar invoice, a free trial, or a fully discounted subscription does not earn commission and does not start the window. A later first paid eligible invoice does.
Annual charges count only for the part of the billed period that falls inside the 12-month window. Time outside the window earns nothing. A payment outside the window does not open a new window.
Attribution
The approved rule is that the last eligible referral within 30 days before a new customer's signup is the one that counts, after the code is checked. A later click does not replace that choice. Credit is per customer account and does not apply to someone who already had an account. Self-referrals are ineligible. Commission posting is switched off, so the signup link in use today still stores the first approved code.
A referral link can be lost when cookies are blocked, consent choices differ, the person switches devices, or they sign up through a path that does not carry the code. NciteMe does not promise credit for a referral it cannot substantiate, and it does not fingerprint visitors to recover one. Disputed attribution can be sent through support.
Payment and adjustments
Commission stays pending for 30 days after the payment. An open dispute stays on hold. Approved USD balances of at least $25 are processed monthly on the 15th. That is a processing date, not a promised bank arrival date. Smaller balances carry forward. Missing payout information delays payment. Stripe is not paying affiliates under this draft. Sending money to a Stripe balance would not, by itself, mean the bank payout finished.
Refunds and chargebacks reduce the related commission. A later adjustment can offset a future balance. These terms do not authorize an automatic bank debit. Test affiliates, including the dingo QA account, do not earn real commission.
Honest promotion and disclosure
Describe NciteMe accurately and use only approved assets or content you have permission to use. When the program is active, disclose that you may earn a commission near the recommendation and the link. Example: “I may earn a commission if you subscribe through this link.” Do not rely on a buried page or an unclear label alone. This example does not guarantee compliance in every jurisdiction. Do not post it as a live offer while this draft is inactive.
Prohibited conduct
Do not use spam, deceptive claims, fake reviews, fabricated results, impersonation, cookie stuffing, forced redirects, unauthorized incentives, or fraudulent or self-referrals. Do not present yourself as official NciteMe support. Paid advertising on NciteMe brand terms, brand-like domains, or unauthorized coupon claims needs prior written approval. Do not disclose private customer or account information.
Brand materials
Approved brand assets may be used to promote NciteMe while you remain authorized. Do not alter logos misleadingly, imply an endorsement beyond the affiliate relationship, or sublicense the assets. Remove outdated materials when asked. Brand ownership stays with its owner.
Taxes and expenses
You are responsible for your promotional expenses and your taxes. When payouts are turned on, tax documents go through Stripe's secure process. Do not send banking or tax identifiers in a NciteMe support form. This program does not guarantee income.
Suspension and termination
Either party may end participation. NciteMe may suspend access or affected commissions while it reviews misuse and may reject an invalid referral with a recorded reason. Ordinary termination does not automatically forfeit a valid accrued commission. Suspected fraud may hold the affected amount for review. Questions go through support.
Program changes
A new version has its own effective date. Material changes are communicated and need acceptance where that is required. An existing qualifying referral keeps the policy recorded for it. Earned commission is not reduced silently.
